The Veterinary Association of Namibia (VAN) is the professional organisation representing veterinarians and para-veterinary professionals across Namibia.

The VAN serves the veterinary profession by:

• Promoting continuing education for all members via the annual VAN Congress and supporting other high quality events and opportunities organised through the Namibian Veterinary Clinicians Forum
• Acting and speaking as one voice on matters that affect the profession and ensuring that opinions of VAN members inform policy-makers
• Promoting, improving, supporting and protecting the interests and status of the veterinary profession, and making the profession visible
• Ensuring that all VAN members adhere to the VAN Professional Code of Conduct meant to promote just and current practice
• Providing excellent service to members and striving to achieve high standards of management and governance.
