The Veterinary Association of Namibia (VAN) is the professional organisation representing veterinarians and para-veterinary professionals across Namibia.
The VAN serves the veterinary profession by:
Promoting continuing education for all members via the annual VAN Congress and supporting other high quality events and opportunities organised through the Namibian Veterinary Clinicians Forum
Acting and speaking as one voice on matters that affect the profession and ensuring that opinions of VAN members inform policy-makers
Promoting, improving, supporting and protecting the interests and status of the veterinary profession, and making the profession visible
Ensuring that all VAN members adhere to the VAN Professional Code of Conduct meant to promote just and current practice
Providing excellent service to members and striving to achieve high standards of management and governance.
