Vacancy: Gobabis Veterinary Practice
Gobabis Veterinary Practice is looking for a Veterinarian to join their team. Candidates must have a strong interest in small animals, but also be able to work with large animals as needed. The role involves diagnosing and treating animals, performing surgeries, providing preventive care and vaccinations and building client relationships. Experience with small animals is preferred and strong communication skills are required. The position entails long hours, including weekend shifts and on-call work. Farmhouse Veterinary Clinic is seeking a highly skilled and dual-qualified professional to join our team as a Veterinarian with a Practice Leadership focus. We are looking for a DVM/VMD who excels in providing mixed-animal medicine and possesses the strong business skills needed to contribute to the management and growth of our clinic. Essential Qualifications: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree and current, valid state license to practice. Mandatory: A Degree or Diploma in Business Management (or a closely related administrative/management field). Demonstrated clinical proficiency and experience working with a diverse patient load, including: Companion Animals Large Stock/Farm Animals Equine Must possess a valid driver`s license and have reliable personal transport for necessary mobile/farm visits. Role Responsibilities Include: Providing comprehensive, high-quality medical, surgical, and preventative care across all species. Leveraging business knowledge to assist the practice owner/management with operational efficiency, budget management, staff scheduling, and strategic planning initiatives.
